PU Foams (Polyurethane)

Polyurethane (PUR) foam is the most widely used type. Being open-celled, it acts like a sponge, absorbing air, liquids, and sound. In upholstery, this provides excellent ventilation. PUR foam is easily sterilised, making it ideal for mattresses or contract furniture, such as in hospitals, or for seat pads and backrests in sofas and chairs.

HR Foam
The term 'HR foam' is derived from historical manufacturing processes that required high heat. It is also known as High Resilience foam—indicating its superior durability and elasticity. Compared to other foams, cold foams feature an open-pore structure with irregular, coarse pores, which provides superior air permeability and high breathability. Furthermore, the elasticity of cold foam ensures excellent body contouring. Cold foams offer a longer service life and can be produced with higher compression hardness. A disadvantage is their sensitivity to high temperatures and moisture, making them unsuitable for steam cleaning.
Visco Foam, Bonded Foam, Outdoor Foam, and fire resistant Foam

Visco Foam (Memory Foam) Visco foam is a relatively recent addition to the foam family. Its defining characteristic is the 'memory effect'. This visco-elastic, thermoplastic foam is also known as 'memory foam' because of its shape stability: it adapts to the body thanks to a slow recovery rate. Due to its high density, it is relatively heavy and can sometimes lead to increased perspiration. However, its ability to conform to the body provides effective pressure relief, for instance in the prevention of pressure ulcers.

Outdoor / Marine Foam The primary requirement for marine foam is that it does not retain water. This type is specifically designed for outdoor cushions, such as patio furniture or boat seating. Unlike standard filter foams, our marine foam is engineered specifically for outdoor use; its extra-coarse pore structure allows water to drain rapidly from the upholstery. This is achieved by creating a highly porous cellular structure that minimises water retention.

Bonded Foam (Reconstituted Foam) Bonded foam is highly versatile. Due to its high density, it is ideal for sound insulation and noise reduction, for example in industrial machinery. It also serves as a robust padding for medical seat wedges, tractor, motorcycle, and construction machinery seats, outdoor furniture, or gym mats. Bonded foam is manufactured from shredded PE or PUR foam flakes, with its exceptional firmness achieved through the use of binding agents and heat-compression.

Flame-Retardant froam is a certified material that meets stringent flame-retardant requirements under the B1 standard. Across Germany and the EU, there are strict regulations governing fire safety for foam materials. Consequently, only approved, fire-rated materials may be used in public spaces, such as nurseries, schools, and other high-traffic commercial environments.

Can you manufacture to our specifications?

Yes, we can – and much more. Simply provide us with your sketches, technical drawings, or existing 3D data (e.g., STEP/STP files), and we will take care of the rest.

Whether it’s an initial hand-drawn concept, a technical drawing, or a fully developed 3D model, we will professionally process your data, verify its feasibility, and develop a bespoke solution for your project. This saves you valuable preparation time, allowing us to move directly into concrete planning and production.

How can I plan my project costs?

We provide a bespoke, no-obligation, and entirely free quotation based on your specific requirements. Simply tell us what you need, and we will handle the fast and accurate cost estimation.

For standard enquiries, this process typically takes only a few minutes. You will receive a clear cost breakdown without long wait times, enabling you to make prompt decisions on how to proceed with your project.

Do you provide certificates and technical datasheets?

Certainly. We can provide the relevant certification and technical data sheets for all materials we utilise, including foams, textiles, and adhesives.

Upon request, we offer full transparency regarding material properties, regulatory standards, testing procedures, and application fields. This provides you with planning certainty, streamlines your internal approval processes, and ensures that you can reliably meet your own quality standards.

What are your typical production lead times?

Once all technical requirements are finalised and the necessary materials are in stock, we commence production immediately. Depending on the complexity of your project and our current manufacturing schedule, we can typically produce your components within a few days.

For you, this means short lead times, reliable scheduling, and rapid implementation – ensuring you hit your own deadlines and keep your projects on track. Upon request, we can coordinate delivery schedules closely with you to integrate our production process seamlessly into your workflows.

Are your services available to private individuals?

We operate exclusively on a B2B basis. Our offerings are designed specifically for commercial clients and business partners, allowing them to benefit from our tailored conditions and professional workflows.

By focusing entirely on the B2B sector, we ensure that our solutions are optimised for the demands of industrial, trade, and corporate clients – providing expert support throughout the entire project lifecycle.
